Who is smuggling?

Who we are and how we got here!

We are a family business that makes chili sauces and spices and we operate in Central Finland, Hankasalmi, in the village of Niemisjärvi. We travel around Finland with our cart to markets and fairs and have this online store, thank you for coming :).

Jallu the smuggler has been making chili sauces for 15 years, which initially started just from his own hobby and love for chili. Our absolute motto is that the sauces are made from pure ingredients, which makes them premium products and it tastes good in the end. The ingredient list of our sauces is short, it doesn't get any closer to real chili sauce than this! We don't use thickeners, water, extracts, additives, etc., only real ingredients, of course. At markets and fairs, you can always taste them, this way you can find your own heat level or more, depending on your purpose.

We are passionate cooks and get excited about all new things and experiments, so we always want to give our customers tips on how to use them. We make our own spice mixes and dips, which is why we often get to name them after ourselves :). And of course, all our spices and dips are additive-free, because we value authentic flavors. Additives are always used for a specific purpose, for example to improve shelf life and texture, but our spices are not filled with any artificial additives or flavor enhancers.

In addition, all of our products are gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan (except for Jalapeno, Kanuuna, and Hot Rose sauces, as we have used honey as a sweetener in them).

We have a lot of personal experience with special diets and are happy to help our customers with tips.
