Mandarin trip to Sardinia

Sardinia- Penso alla Sardegna - Thinking about Sardinia, that's what our festive week chili is made of!

Last winter we drove to the enchanting island of Sardinia with our travelling camper van and spent two months there touring the island. We covered about three thousand kilometers in Sardinia alone, and we fell in love with the inland and its mountains, as well as the small, atmospheric villages. And with tangerines. Can you believe we ate tangerines almost to the point of being full (or is it even possible to overdose on them?)

The trees were full of oranges and tangerines and there were various stalls selling them along the roads. Most of the time they were freshly picked because they still had green leaves hanging on them and oh, how deliciously juicy!

That's where the idea came from, a chili sauce made with mandarin segments. Penso alla Sardegna is not available in the online store, but in honor of the festive week, we are offering a bottle for all orders over 40 euros.
