Piri Piri is a traditional Portuguese spice blend known for its strong aroma and pleasant chili flavor. This blend adds plenty of character to both meat and chicken dishes as well as everyday casseroles and casseroles. Try it in a sausage and potato casserole, warm sandwiches or pasta. Piri Piri adds a lively kick and plenty of flavor.
Piri Piri is salt-free and completely additive-free, made with only pure, authentic spices. It is also suitable for seasoning vegetarian dishes or as part of your own spice pastes and marinades.
Tip – Make your own Piri Piri paste:
• 1 small jar of tomato puree (70 g)
• 1–2 tsp Piri Piri spice mix
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• a drizzle of olive oil
Mix the ingredients and let the spice paste set in the fridge for a while. Use it on warm sandwiches, roasted vegetables, on top of meat or chicken, or even to season soup.
