Coriander leaves and coriander seeds come from the same plant, but are completely different! The leaves give you a fresh and slightly citrusy aroma, while dried coriander seeds give you a spicy, warm and slightly nutty taste and aroma.
Coriander is used a lot in Asian cuisine and is very versatile in meat, fish and vegetable dishes. A classic ingredient in many spice blends, such as Garam Masala. It also goes great with filled oven tortillas! Fry the filling of your choice in a pan and add it to the filling with other spices.
